The fund invests in promising emerging companies of strategic relevance to Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans.
The following eleven Plans have provided capital to the fund:

- Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania

- Health Care Service Corporation (IL, TX, OK, NM)
- HealthNow (NY)
- Independence Blue Cross (PA)
Through an exclusive arrangement, management of the Fund is shared between participating Blue Plans, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, and Sandbox Industries.
